Jennifer Liu

As founder and Managing Partner of Surfbird Investments, Ms. Jennifer Liu brings over 25 years of international market expertise in financial services industry. She sits on the boards of multiple companies, PE and VC platforms operating across Asia and U.S. She also applies her strengths in multiple public and private companies as advisor in strategic planning, corporate finance, and M&A. Previously, Ms. Liu worked with Charles Schwab and Visa International in U.S. and Asia Pacific Commerce Group in China where she served as CEO.
Ms. Liu obtained her M.A. from Columbia University (New York) and M.B.A. from San Francisco University in U.S. and acquired her B.B.A. from Osaka City University in Japan. She is fluent in English, Chinese and Japanese.
Shin Kuroda

Mr. Kuroda Shin is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Surfbird Investments. He has management responsibilities over strategy, development of new products and partnerships for the firm. With over 20 years of experience in corporate governing, strategic planning and commercial consultancy, Mr. Kuroda devotes a substantial amount of time to overseeing Asia, especially Japan market. He also serves as CEO to WAIZUYNION Inc. With the background across financial services and business management fields, he is expert in investment management and strategic planning.
Mr. Kuroda holds an M.S. and B.S. from Kyoto University in Japan. He is fluent in English, Chinese and Japanese.
Anthony Gao

As the Executive Partner of Surfbird Investments, Mr. Anthony Gao brings extensive experience in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship investment. He specializes in providing personalized family asset solutions, resource management solutions, and business model management. At present, Mr. Gao serves as an editorial board member and director of the national first-class journal "China Science and Technology Investment", as well as a partner of Beijing Qichuang Keyuan Equity Investment Fund (Partnership Enterprise). He has held important positions in multiple PE funds and been invited to be consultant and advisor to financial industry development for several local governments.
Mr. Gao is a visiting scholar for the EMBA program at Sun Yat-Sen University and the Business School Netherlands. He holds an EMBA Degree from Sun Yat-Sen University.
Fay Xue

Ms. Fay Xue serves as Senior Partner at Surfbird Investments. She has over 15 years of experience in a wide range of capital management, resource management and business planning. Prior to joining Surfbird investments, she worked with Land-mark Oriental Group as Vice President.
Ms. Xue holds a master’s degree in Business Administration.
